05.06 Annotation Tools Toolbar

The Annotations toolbar provides access to all the non-takeoff markup tools available such as Dimension Lines, Text, highlighting, and clouding. The Annotations toolbar also provides access to creating Named Views and placing Punch Items, along with attaching files to a Sheet and exporting the current Sheet (plan, takeoff, and annotations) to a PDF or image file. 
The accent color for many of the tools (highlights, inking, clouding, arrows) indicates the currently selected color. Annotations are separate from Takeoff objects. They are often known as "Markups" because they are simply marking-up the plan for reference purposes only. We cover drawing and editing Annotations in 10 Annotations (Plan Markups) Overview.
