10.08 Annotations: Clouds

Architects use "clouding" to highlight changes between Revisions or Issues of a Plan. You can use the Cloud Annotation Tool when you want to call-out something on a Page for field personnel or another estimator to review.

Drawing Cloud Annotation

Click the  button on the Annotations toolbar.

Set the Line Thickness and Color (and Opacity) by clicking the expand triangle on the side of the Clouds button.

Click on each corner of the cloud (you must click at least three points to create a cloud).

Double-click to end drawing this Cloud.

You can adjust the size/shape of the Cloud by clicking and dragging on the select boxes at each corner in in the center of each segment.

You can adjust the Color after you draw the Cloud by right-clicking on it.
