12.06.05 Overlay Tools - Rotating an Overlay

If your Overlay Plan is rotated 90°, 180°, or 270° degrees compared to your Base Plan, you can rotate the Overlay Plan to match.

After we add the Overlay below, we see that is Rotated 180° from the Base Plan - very simple to fix!

Use the tool to rotate the Overlay plan 90° at a time. (Because our Overlay Plan needs to be rotated 180°, we click the  button twice.)

After rotating the Overlay, the Overlay may still need to be:

• Flipped vertically or horizontally (see Flipping an Overlay)
• Resized, (see Resizing an Overlay)
• Aligned (see Aligning an Overlay)

Note

If you get to a point where you are have difficulty adjusting your Overlay, just click the Reset Overlay button () and start over.
