16.07 Masters - Project Types

You can use Project Types to identify the overall type or scope of construction jobs, such as an Office Building, Residential, Hotel, etc. You set Project Type in the  Project's Cover Sheet.

• Open your Masters by clicking your name in the upper-right corner of any screen and selecting "Masters and Templates"
• Click on Project Types - the list shows all Project Types in your Organization

• To add a new Project Type, just click the  button at the bottom of the list - new row is added for you to type the name of the new type
• To delete a Project Type, select it from the list and click the  button

Organization Admins or Editors can create and/or modify Project Types in the Masters.

Anyone assigned the role of User can see and use existing Project Types from the Masters.

Anyone, regardless of role assignment, can create custom Project Types in a Project's Cover Sheet. These are not added to the Master Project Types list.
