ConstructConnect Takeoff Release Notes 2.02.03 11/07/2019

Last Updated: 2024-08-22 11:38

2.02.03 is a minor update that improves existing functionality and makes other changes to improve usability and user experience.

Features

Changes

  • Replaced a few terms to improve the on-boarding experience and make ConstructConnect Takeoff consistent with other Platform products:
    • We replaced the term "Condition" with "Takeoff Item"
    • "Styles" replaces "Types" (the four main varieties of Takeoff Items: Linear, Area, Count, and Attachment)
    • "Type" replaces "Group" - for organizing Takeoff Items within lists (for example, Walls, or Ceilings, or Fasteners)
  • Reduced the font size for the dimension indicators between two selected linear takeoff objects.
  • Reduced the font size in the Formula Editor UOM drop-down so all options are visible.
  • Updated branding for the image processor.
  • Replaced the Insert Takeoff Item Result (fka Condition Result), Insert Manual Result, and Modify Result buttons on the Worksheet Tab to improve clarity.

Fixes

  • Fixed Manage Access Save and Cancel buttons.
  • Settings should be retained when updating application.
  • Fixed issue where deleting a column in a workbook connected to Takeoff could cause Excel to hang.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes, installing or opening CC Takeoff from the Project Intelligence site caused the installer to crash.

Known Issues

  • If you are running Windows 10 and have not installed all Windows Updates, to uninstall the product, you must open the old Windows Control Panel and use the "Uninstall Program" link. If you open Apps & Features from the Start menu, the program is not uninstalled properly or completely. This Known Issue does not affect Windows 10 systems that are updated to build 1809 or newer.
  • Creating a new master formula, while master formulas are grouped, causes a crash.
  • When using ConstructConnect Live Link, when you copy and paste a cell (in Excel), the value and the Comment are pasted, but the Live Link is not retained. You can always create a new one in the pasted cell, if you choose. Implemented as Feature
