ConstructConnect Takeoff Release Notes 2.04.01 02/20/2020
Last Updated: 2024-08-22 11:37 |
Version 2.04.01 is a Hot Fix to ConstructConnect Takeoff to fix a bug identified in 2.04.00 (released 2/13/2020) that caused some users to experience issues with the Plan Organizer. Fixed in 2.04.01- For some users, adding plans to the Plan Organizer caused CCTO to crash. This is due to a missing Windows component that failed to get installed.
Original 2.04.00 Release NotesChanges- Replaced the built-in "Save to PDF" functionality with ability to choose any installed PDF printer; this provides better user control and options over output quality.
- Additional terminology changes ("Condition" renamed "Takeoff Item", "Style" renamed "Type", and "Type" renamed "Group" in several sub-screens).
- For improved security, when a user logs into CC-Takeoff, any other active sessions will be disconnected.
- If the program shuts down for any reason other than user request, it reopens to the Login screen automatically.
- The Takeoff Item and Template Properties dialog boxes are "responsive" when resized (you can see all the fields in a single column versus being cut-off on one edge).
Fixes- Bid Statuses don't show as 'In Use' until you restart the program after assigning it to a bid
- Deleting a template group if one of them has a duplicate name kicks you out of the program
- On a fresh clean install or Re-install CCTO machine, by default bid does not open at full screen
- When switching between Takeoff Items and Typical Group panels (in Auto Hide mode), the panel does not automatically hide
- Minimized CCTO window won't open up when trying to go to "takeoff://" through a web browser
- Grouping the Formulas list and then attempting to add a new formula type causes a crash
- Plan Set names are duplicate when user1 saves plan set then user2 saves another plan set in the plan organizer
- Duplicating a new project does not display bids in the duplicate project
- Worksheet Toolbar isn't resized to the minimal state of Worksheet Tab window
- Case # 01279164 Application locks up after the credentials are entered
- CCTO hangs if user resizes Plan Set Editor while uploading of images finishes
- Changing the scale on a project which user has "Takeoff and Markups" permission causing the crash.
Known Issues- If you are running Windows 10, you must install the latest version and all related Windows Updates to install/uninstall this product successfully.
- Creating a new master formula, while master formulas are grouped, causes a crash.
