18.01.08 Disconnecting and Reconnecting the Spreadsheet from Your Takeoff Bid (Pausing Live Link)

Caution

The Live Link Add-in has been discontinued by ConstructConnect effective 6/1/2023 and can no longer be downloaded or installed. If you are already using Live Link, it will continue to function for some time, although we no longer provide support for this feature.

We encourage you to review the Related Articles at the bottom of this article on ways of exporting your takeoff results to Excel (and other formats).

You can "disconnect" your Excel spreadsheet from Takeoff, to pause active syncing.

Note

The workbook remains linked to the Takeoff Bid but changes made in the bid will not update the spreadsheet while "disconnected".

When you click the "Connect" button again, all the changes made to Takeoff Items' Results are pulled into the spreadsheet (this typically takes a few seconds).
